Besan Paratha

Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat atta (कणिक)
1/4 cup besan
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp chopped green chill/red chilli powder
2 tbsp oil
2-3 tbsp finely chopped onion
1 tbsp finely chopped corriandar
salt to taste

Method:
1. Add besan, jeera powder, chat masala, chilli, onion, corriandar, salt and 1 tbsp oil to atta.
2. Mix adding enough water to make a stiff dough. The dough will be sticky because of besan.
Knead using the remaining oil
3. Keep it covered with moist muslin cloth for 15-20 mins (if not let it stand at least for 5 mins)
4. Knead again and the dough will be much softer.
5. Roll it into rotis. These are slighly difficult to roll because of besan.
6. Roast one side on tava and after turning apply a little ghee. Roast on other side and apply ghee.
7. Serve warm with dahi and green chutni
8. This is great recipe for lunch box.
