Dalia (Lapsi) Sheera

Ingredients:
1 cup Dalia
1 cup chopped jaggery
1 cup milk + 1 cup water
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp elaichi powder
2 tbsp chopped dry fruits (optional)

Method:
1. Roast dalia with the ghee for 5-6 mins in a thick bottom pan. It should start give a nice aroma and slightly change color.
2. While dalia is roasting warm the milk mixture
3. Add milk mixture to dalia and mix well.
4. Cook covered for 5-6 mins stirring a couple of times.
5. Dalia should absorb all the liquid by now.
6. Add jaggery amd mix well, cook coverd for 3-4 mins. Add 2-3 tbsp of granulated sugar if you like it sweeter.
7. Add elaichi powder and dry fruits and mix well. Cook again for 2-3 mins.

Serve warm.
