Pomphret bhujane


Ingredients:
2 Pomphret cut into pieces
Turmeric powder
Red chili powder
Garlic paste
Fresh coriander finely chopped
2-3 Green chilies chopped
2-3 tbsp Fresh grated coconut
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Method
1.      Wash the fish thoroughly.
2.      Add Turmeric powder, Red chili powder, Garlic paste and salt to it. Mix well to coat the fish. You can store fish in the fridge at this stage or get started with the recipe.
3.      Add Fresh coriander, Green chilies and grated coconut and mix well.
4.      Heat oil in a broad pan. Add the fish mixture.
5.      Add water just enough to cover the fish.
6.      Stir the mixture gently.
7.      Let it cook covered for 4-5 minutes. Check that the fish is cooked.

8.      Serve hot with rice.
